Welcome to Jolab Ride. By downloading, accessing, or using our mobile applications (“User App” or “Driver App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using Jolab Ride.

Definitions

·        “User” means any individual who books a ride through Jolab Ride.

·        “Driver” means any registered and approved person providing transport services via Jolab Ride.

·        “Platform” means the Jolab Ride mobile applications and related services.

·        “Company” means Jolab Ride, its owners, employees, and affiliates.

General Terms

·        Users and Drivers must provide accurate personal information during registration.

·        The platform may update these Terms at any time, and continued use means acceptance of changes.

·        All users must be at least 18 years old.

User Obligations

·        Users must provide correct pickup and drop-off information.

·        Users must behave respectfully towards drivers.

·        Users shall not engage in unlawful, harmful, or abusive behavior during rides.

·        Cancellation of rides may incur fees according to Company policy.

Driver Obligations and Rules

·        Licensing & Documentation:
- Must hold a valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and insurance.
- Must submit accurate documents to the Company and update them when expired.

·        Vehicle Standards:
- Vehicle must be roadworthy, clean, and safe at all times.
- Unauthorized or unregistered vehicles are strictly prohibited.

·        Behavior & Professionalism:
- Drivers must treat passengers with courtesy and respect.
- No discrimination, harassment, or abusive behavior will be tolerated.
- Alcohol, drugs, or smoking while driving are strictly forbidden.

·        Safety & Compliance:
- Obey all traffic laws and speed limits.
- No use of mobile phones without hands-free devices while driving.
- Always wear seat belts and ensure passengers do the same.

·        Ride Conduct:
- Pick up and drop off passengers only at designated points.
- No overcharging or demanding additional cash beyond the app fare.
- Cancel rides only for valid reasons (e.g., unsafe passenger, emergency).

·        Earnings & Payments:
- All fares must be processed through the Jolab Ride platform.
- Drivers shall not request direct cash payments unless authorized by the Company.
- Commission rates and deductions are determined by the Company.

·        Prohibited Actions:
- Sharing driver accounts with others.
- Carrying unauthorized goods or passengers.
- Engaging in fraudulent activities such as fake rides or fare manipulation.

·        Account Termination:
- The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate any driver who violates these rules, receives repeated complaints, or engages in unsafe practices.

Payments & Fees

·        Users agree to pay fares as displayed in the app.

·        Drivers agree to the Company’s commission and payout schedule.

·        Refunds or disputes shall be handled in accordance with Company policy.

Liability Disclaimer

·        Jolab Ride provides a platform to connect Users and Drivers but does not guarantee availability or quality of services.

·        The Company is not responsible for accidents, delays, or losses arising from rides, except where required by law.

Privacy

·        Both Users and Drivers consent to the collection and processing of personal data in accordance with the Company’s Privacy Policy.
